Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize combustion state during automatic cleaning and improve the performance of exhaust gas, by regulating the amount of primary air during effecting the automatic cleaning so as to be the same as the amount of primary air during stationary combustion. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of combustible mixture, passing through a burner throat 4, has increased to about 400 deg.C, a shape memory alloy, constituting a damper 22, detects the temperature of 400 deg.C and closes the tip end of the damper 22 to regulate a passing sectional area so as to be reduced. When the passing sectional area is regulated in such a manner, excessive primary air is restrained by the damper 22 and the proper amount of the primary air, necessary for blue flame combustion, is supplied through a burner inlet port 2. The amount of the primary air is reduced to the same as that supplied during stationary combustion during effecting automatic cleaning, whereby the proper amount of the primary air may be supplied, the flame port 5 of the burner will never be red-heated during automatic cleaning and backfire or lifting may be prevented, therefore, stabilized combustion state may be maintained.
