Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a consumption of useless heater power and control a preheating heater in a room thermostat OFF mode by a method wherein a memory means for storing continuous time data of the room thermostat OFF mode and a preheating required time data of the preheating heater is provided. CONSTITUTION:A cooking part 3 stores a continuous time data of a room thermostat OFF mode and preheating required time data of the preheater. If a sensed temperature of the room temperature sensor 1 is lower than a set temperature of a thermostat setting unit 14, the room thermostat circuit 2 may output the room thermostat ON signal and a logical part 3 any turn ON a preheating heater 11. If a heater thermostat 4 detects a lower limit temperature of vaporization of petroleum oil, the logical part 3 turns ON a combustion motor 8 so as to perform a prepurging operation. Petroleum oil discharged from an oil supplying pump 7 is vaporized by heat of the preheating heater 11, mixed with air and then ignited by an igniter 16. The preheater 11 may be continuously energized and operated, a heat exchanger is heated an if the hot air thermostat 6 is turned ON, a blower motor 13 is turned ON and then hot air is delivered into the room.
