Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the exfoliation, crack, etc., between a thin magnetic film and ferrite by specifying the coefft. of thermal expansion of the ferrite. CONSTITUTION:The ferrite having the coefft. of thermal expansion equiv. to 125-145X10<-7>/ deg.C coefft. of thermal expansion of a thin magnetic film material having the saturation magnetic flux density larger than the saturation magnetic flux density of the ferrite is used as a magnetic core. The ferrite is satisfactory if the compsn. thereof expressed in molar % of (MnO, ZnO and Fe2O3) is within the range enclosed by AB, BC, CD and DA connecting the respective points A(25, 16, 59), B(25, 11, 64), C(40, 9, 51) and D(40, 3, 57) by straight lines. Even single crystal, polycrystal and molten ferrites are applicable if the compsns. thereof are in the above-mentioned range. The exfoliation of the thin magnetic film from the ferrite in the cooling process after formation of the thin film and the crack and exfoliation, etc., between the thin magnetic film and the ferrite from a ferrite core in the heating and cooling process at the time of joining the ferrite core half bodies are thereby prevented.
