Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the excess or deficiency of an adhesive agent and the nonuniformity of an adhesive layer and to avert the intrusion of air bubbles into said layer so that the accuracy of coating is improved and yield is increased by coating the adhesive agent discontinuously to a ring shape on substrates and adhering the substrates in a vacuum. CONSTITUTION:The light transmittable substrate 7 on which a recording layer 3 for information is provided and the light transmittable substrate 9 are stuck to each other via the UV curing adhesive agent 5. While the light transmittable substrate 7 is kept rotated impulsively by a motor 13, the adhesive agent 5 is dropped onto the substrate 7 by using a dispenser 12 while the motor is static, by which the adhesive agent is coated to the discontinuous ring shape on the substrate. The coating distribution is adjusted by exactly controlling the volume and dropping intervals of the adhesive agent 5. The substrates are thereafter stuck to each other in a vacuum atmosphere and finally the adhesive agent is completely cured by using a UV exposing machine. The excess or deficiency of the adhesive agent 5 and the nonuniformity of the adhesive are thereby prevented and the intrusion of the air bubbles into said layer is averted, by which the accuracy of the coating is improved and the yield is increased.
