Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit the provision of recessed and projected figures of arbitrary configuration without deforming the sectional configuration of a molded form, by a method wherein a projection, supporting the recessed and projected figures of the molded form, or a core for providing the molded form with a hollow hole is projected to the lower part of an emboss roll.

CONSTITUTION: A molding dice 2 or a mold for molding inorganic kneading material (α) into a predetermined configuration is mounted at the tip end of an extrusion molding device 1 to extrude and mold a molded form A. An emboss roll 3 provides the surface B of recessed and projected figures, which becomes the decorative surface of the molded form A, with the recessed and projected figures of an arbitrary pattern and configuration. In this case, one part of a molding dice 2 is projected to at least the lower part of the emboss roll 3, therefore, the part becomes a backup when recesses and projections are worked on the surface B of the recessed and projected figures of the molded form A by the emboss roll 3 whereby the deformation of the molded form A may be prevented. A core 5 for forming a hollow hole is projected in the extrusion molding device 1 while a projection 2a may be provided on the molding dice 2.
