Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration of braking ability at the time of dehydrating by arranging a cylindrical brake drum around a gear case and positioning its upper end over other members proximately to a drum surface. CONSTITUTION: The peripheral wall part 20 of a lower bearing case 18 is extended upward by proximately opposing to the brake drum 12 and is fixed with a bolt 23 by a fixing part 22 drooping from a mounting table 1 at a flange 21 projected outward in a horizontal direction from its upper end. The upper end 18a is positioned to be lower than the upper end 12a of the brake drum 12 and, even if it should be fixed to an upper side compared with the end 12a of the drum 12 for the reason of designing, only the fixing part 22 is extended upward. Consequently, even if various kinds of lubricating oils used at a planetary gears, an upper bearing 116 or a bearing 122 are leaked and splashed by centrifugal force, it becomes difficult to enter between the drum 12 and the case 18, thereby it becomes possible to reduce the deterioration of braking ability due to sticking of oil to the drum surface 12b of the drum 12.
