Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a main shaft from charging with static electricity by providing conductivity partially or entirely to a rolling member to be assembled between inner and outer rings of a rolling bearing. CONSTITUTION:A rolling bearing 12 comprises an inner ring 12a, an outer ring 12b and a rolling member 12c. The rolling member 12c is made by coating a conductive ceramic or a steel ceramic with metal. Consequently, static electricity produced at the inner ring 12a side is passed through a rolling member 12c to the outer ring 12b side, thus preventing charging of the inner ring 12c. Furthermore, high frequency noise due to electrostatic discharge can be prevented. The rolling members 12c are not required to be entirely conductive and may be formed with at least one rolling member.
