Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve torque absorbing performance and to reduce the size, by forming pulley section, cylindrical section and disc section of a rotor from sintered alloy produced by compressing magnetic metal powder having high conductivity and friction coefficient then integrating and sintering. CONSTITUTION:Pulley section 8 and cylindrical section 10 are formed from highly conductive metal powder obtained by adding phosphorus into iron while disc section is formed from metallic powder having high friction coefficient obtained by adding copper into iron. Then they are integrated and sintered, and post processing such as repressing or cutting is applied as required. Consequently, torque absorbing performance is improved and the size is reduced.
