Abstract
PURPOSE:To completely remove a gap produced on a contact surface between the inner wall surface of an outer tank and a heat insulating panel and to eliminate a concentrated load, by a method wherein a lining material easily adhered to the inner wall surface of an outer tank and a heat insulating panel is disposed between the inner wall surface of the outer tank and the heat insulating panel. CONSTITUTION:A lining material 3, formed by hardening a flexible material containing a liquid composition prevented from production of a subproduct during hardening, is disposed on an inner wall surface 2 of an outer tank 1. A heat insulating panel 4, having both heat insulating ability and resistance to compression, is disposed on the surface side in a manner to compress and nip the lining material 3. By means of a self-adhesion force provided during hardening of the liquid composition contained in the lining material 3, the heat insulating panel 4 is integrally stuck on the inner wall surface 2 of the outer tank to form a heat insulating wall 6.
