Abstract

PURPOSE:To modify the number of packed welding rods by a method wherein the weight of the welding rods is weighed automatically, a difference between a weighed value thus obtained and a specified package weight is computed through comparison, and a value obtained by dividing this difference by a unit amount of the welding rods is fed back. CONSTITUTION:Welding rods are counted by a second counter 7. When the count of the welding rods in the number of N to be packed is completed, the welding rods in the number of N are weighed automatically by a second weigher 8, and a weighed value (P) thus obtained is inputted to a comparator 10 through a count control unit 9. In the comparator 10, a difference between the weighed value P and a specified package weight (W) is computed through comparison. Moreover, addition/subtraction of the number of welding rods to be packed is conducted by W-P/w on the basis of a unit weight (w) of the rod and the aforesaid difference by an error modifier 11, and the number M thus obtained is outputted to a calculation count control unit 5. Then, the number N of the welding rods to be packed, which is set by a calculation count setting unit 6, is modified with a real weighed value through feedback.
