PURPOSE: To attain improvement of fatigue strength, of an automobile wheel having air holes on the disk thereof, by concentrically cold rolling the wheel under a given pressure over a given range radially inside and outside the air hole edges.
CONSTITUTION: A range radially inside and outside the edges of the air holes 11-1 of a disk 11 is concentrically cold rolled over 1W5 times the material thickness of the disk 11 to the depth of 5W15% of the material thickness under a heltz pressure of 500W700kgf/mm2 by use of a roller or the like. This constitution will ensure the improvement of both fatigue strength around the air holes and the durability of the title wheel.
