Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve responsiveness by providing an integrator reset means which generates a reset signal for clearing the integrator of a PI or a PID operating means when the increasing rate of a target engine speed becomes above a set value. CONSTITUTION:When a target engine speed is changed, if the increasing rate of a target engine speed which is operated by a time change rate operating means 85 exceeded a set value, an integrator reset means 86 output a reset signal. That is, since the increasing rate of the target engine speed always exceeds a set valve at the time of kick down, the reset signal corresponds to the time of kick down. As a result, the integrator 84 of a PID operating means 81 is cleared by the reset signal and the information before the kick down is erased. Thereby, engine speed immediately starts to rise to the target engine speed after kick down, obtaining an excellent responsiveness.
