Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable economical and efficient utilization of a scrapped oil tanker, by providing a hydroponic culture facility for agricultural crops such as vegetables and fruits in a scrapped oil tanker, mooring the tanker on a sea area near the consuming area of the agricultural crops and providing a shuttle transportation means between the tanker and the consuming site. CONSTITUTION:A scrapped oil tanker T modified for the production of agricultural crops is moored on a sea S in a bay nearest to a consuming site X of the agricultural crops or on the nearest off-shore of the consuming site. A shuttle transportation means Z reciprocating between the tanker T and the base 1 of the consuming site X is provided.
