Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce a detection error by making a contact area between a supporting rotary shaft and an elastic body smaller than the sectional area of a shaft center part. CONSTITUTION:The weight of food laced on a placing base 5 is transmitted to a weight detecting means 8 through the elastic body 7 as the displacement of the thrust-directional stroke of the supporting rotary shaft 6. Here, the contact area of the rotary shaft 6 for the elastic body 7 is made smaller than the center sectional area of the rotary shaft 6. Consequently, when the food is placed on the base 5 and the rotary shaft 6 makes one turn, the amplitude of stress variation applied to the detecting means 8 is improved to about 1/4 as large as when the contact area is equal to the center sectional area of the rotary shaft 6. Here, a weight detected value is proportional to the stress, so variance in measured value due to rotation is reduced to about 1/4. Thus, the detection error is made small.
