Abstract
PURPOSE: To accomplish actions of decrease in wave making resistance, decrease in resistance with prevention of shock wave separation at a boundary layer, increase in lift, buffet prevention, etc., by providing a wing root rear edge whose chord length is progressively elongated when approaching the center of a body.
CONSTITUTION: A leading edge 2 of a front wing 1 has a sweep angle θ and is constituted so that a wing root rear edge 4 gets progressively longer approaching the center of a body. Thus, an shock wave 3 has a sufficient sweep angle α, an unfavorable state where sound energy is accumulated in the same cross section perpendicular to the flow direction can be avoided, and the shock wave becomes sufficiently small. Thus, decrease in loss of momentum caused by the shock wave 3 and decrease in wave making resistance accompanying it can be accomplished. Also, actions can be realized such as prevention of shock wave separation of a boundary layer due to decrease in pressure rise, decrease in resistance with it, increase in lift, buffet prevention, etc.
