Abstract
PURPOSE: To quickly extinguish a fire within a site and prevent the spread of a fire from an adjacent place by providing a sensor for monitoring a fired matter or flying sparks within the site in which a dangerous material is set, an automatic fire extinguishing device, a sensor for monitoring the peripheral part of the site, and a water curtain device. CONSTITUTION: When a fire generated within a site 1 is sensed by a sensor 3 provided in a required position within a site 1 in which a dangerous material is set, the information is immediately inputted to a central monitor control device 9, and an automatic fire extinguishing device 4 is also operated to start the fire extinguishment. A sure fire extinguishment is thus performed even when no man is present in a central monitor room. A sensor 6 provided on the peripheral part of the site 1 monitors the adjacent ground, and when a fire takes place in the adjacent ground, possibility of spread of the fire is judged according to the degree, and when the possibility of spread of the fire to the site 1 is judged, a water curtain device 7 is operated to form a water screen in the boundary with the adjacent ground, so that the flying of a fired matter or flying sparks are prevented. Further, when the fired matter or flying sparks are flied from the adjacent ground into the site 1, it is sensed by the sensor 3, and the automatic control device 4 quickly settles it.
