Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain reliability effect equal to that in the triplication of a detector concerning a control system which is difficult in the triplication thereof, by outputting a command signal when an absolute value of a difference between detection values is above a specified value, as computed from two detectors which detect the same process values to select one detection value on a basis of a specified rule. CONSTITUTION:One of the detection values of two flow rate detectors 2 and 3 is selected 4 on a basis of a specified rule. A flow rate of heavy oil is estimated 6 based on a detection value or the like of an air flow rate detector 12 of a flow rate of air as other process value in a fixed correlationship with a desired flow rate of heavy oil. Based on the estimated flow rate, either of detection values of the detectors 2 and 3 is determined 7 to be a true value and outputted. On the other hand, a command signal is generated 5 when a difference between detection values of the detectors 2 and 3 is above a specified value.
