Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate noises in every directions which are generated by a ship body and to directly enable a piezoelectric hydrophone to be mounted on the ship body by installing composite piezoelectric elements consisting of piezoelectric ceramic rods and organic resin symmetrically across a flat plate. CONSTITUTION:The conjugated piezoelectric plates (element) 11 and 11' consisting of the piezoelectric rods and organic resin are installed symmetrically across the flat plate 12 made of organic resin. Then if acceleration is generated in a Z-axial direction, the direction of polarization is selected so as to cancel charges in the piezoelectric plates completely. Then if acceleration operates in an X-axial direction, the part is compressed, and a join D is drawn to generate charges, which become opposite in polarizing direction and equal in size and intensity and are small in amount, so that the changes cancel each other completely. Further, even if acceleration operates in a (y)-axial direction, charges cancel each other between E1 and F1, and E2 and F2.
