Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent rainwater from enter the indoor side of an outside structure by providing a throating material and a waterproof material between the outside structure and an inside main building and filling a water-retaining material at the inside.
CONSTITUTION: A throating plates 5, 6 are fitted so as to cover a gap between an inside main structure of a building and a roof of an outside structure, and a waterproof material constituted of a gasket 24 or a sealant 23 is filled in between the throating plates 5, 6 and the wall face 2 of the inside main building. Further, a water-retaining substance 20 made of nonwoven fabric or the like is filled in the inside of the waterproof material. By constituting the structure as above, even when rainwater passes through the throating material and the waterproof material and penetrates inside, the water is absorbed by the water- retaining substance 20 and hence, it does not enter inside and evaporates thereafter and dissipates.
