PURPOSE:To improve a ventilating effect by dividing the interior of an engine room into the front and rear chambers, mounting on air-cooled engine in the rear chamber, forming air suction openings on the upper part of a floorplate, and accommodating an exhaust pipe in a cooling air duct piercing through both front and rear chambers. CONSTITUTION:An engine room 4 is provided on the upper portion of a car body frame 2 in a small size tractor, and the engine room 4 is formed by a top plate 4a, both front and rear plates 4b, 4c and both right and left plates 4d. Suction openings 4e for travelling air are formed on the front plate 4b, and air holes 4f are formed on the top plate 4a and the rear plate 4c, respectively. The interior of the engine room 4 is divided into the front and rear chambers F, R by a partition wall 5, and an air-cooled engine 7 is installed in the rear chamber R. Further, a cooling air duct 15 is extended from the outer wall 7b of an engine main body 7a, piercing the partition wall 5 in the interior of the front chamber F, and an exhaust pipe 16 connected to the engine main body 7a is accommodated in the cooling air duct 15.
