Abstract
PURPOSE:To readily select a base making glass and a colorant and to obtain a building material of crystallized glass having a granitic pattern at a low heat-treating temperature, by blending colored glass powder having a specific composition to form a spotted pattern with a base making glass powder, molding and heat-treating. CONSTITUTION:5-30wt.% colored glass powder to form a spotted pattern, comprising 40-60wt.% SiO2, 5-20wt.% Al2O3, 25-50wt.% CaO, <=10wt.% MgO, >=85wt.% sum of the above-mentioned components and <=15wt.% glass coloring material and having 4-100 meshes is blended with the rest of base making glass powder having a particle size constitution of >=90wt.% particles having <=200 meshes, molded, heat-treated, sintered and crystallized.
