Description
【考案の詳細な説明】
本案はキヤンドル等に使用される装飾用のろう
そくに関するものである。

ろうそくはパラフイン（石ろう）その他のろう
を固め、木棉等で形成した芯材を内装し、芯材に
点火してろう分を燃焼せしめて明りを得るもの
で、テーブルキヤンドルのようにテーブルの飾り
として用いるものは、色彩ガラスで形成した覆内
にろうそくの炎を位置せしめてなるのが一般的で
ある。本案は更に装飾効果を奏するろうそくを提
供せんとしたものである。

うそくに於て、ろう部の下方に底面より適当な大
きさの装着穴を形成し、棒状体の化学発光体３を
前記装着穴に嵌挿してなるものである。化学発光
体３は物質の化学反応に伴つて発光する所謂化学
ルミネセンスを応用したもので、一方の化学反応
物質６をガラス管のように破壊し易い細管５に封
入し、前記細管５と他方の化学反応物質６とを軟
かい透明樹脂製密封筒体４内に封入してなるもの
である。発光手段は外部より撓力を加えて内部細
管５のみを破壊して反応物質６，６′を接触させ
化学反応を起こさせるものである。

本案ろうそくの使用例を示すと、第１図に示す
ように着色透明体で形成したろうそく立て７に本
案ろうそくを立てると、通常のろうそくの炎の明
りと共に、発光体３が光を発しろうそく立て７が
ぼんやりと明るくなり、特異なテーブル装飾とな
る。又第２図に示すように着色透明体の容器８内
に水９を満たし、透孔１０を有する蓋体１１で容
器８を覆い、本案ろうそくを透孔１０を通して水
中９に入れると、ろうそくが浮いた状態で点火さ
れると共に、発光体３の光は水９によつてゆらめ
いて視認されるものである。更に第３図に示すよ
うに水容器内に水中花１２を置いておくと、発光
体３の光によつて水中花１２が照らし出され、よ
り装飾効果が増すものである。

案ろうそくを立てると、通常のろうそくの炎の明
りと共に、発光体３が光を発しろうそく立て７が
ぼんやりと明るくなり、特異なテーブル装飾とな
る。又第２図に示すように着色透明体の容器８内
に水９を満たし、透孔１０を有する蓋体１１で容
器８を覆い、本案ろうそくを透孔１０を通して水
中９に入れると、ろうそくが浮いた状態で点火さ
れると共に、発光体３の光は水９によつてゆらめ
いて視認されるものである。更に第３図に示すよ
うに水容器内に水中花１２を置いておくと、発光
体３の光によつて水中花１２が照らし出され、よ
り装飾効果が増すものである。
以上のように本案は公知のろうそくに化学発光
体を付設したもので、その使用方法によつて従来
にない装飾効果を奏するものである。

Claims (1)
- 公知のろうそくの下方に底面より適当な大きさ
の装着穴を形成し、化学反応によつて発光する反
応物質を二重管の内外に密封してなる棒状の化学
発光体を前記装着穴に嵌挿してなるろうそく。
