Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a freezer at the time of charging and improve overall efficiency of a battery locating a gas blow out port of a gas injection pipe in a chlorine-absorbing solvent below a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A gas blow out port 7 of a gas injection pipe 4 in a chlorine absorbing solvent is located below a heat exchanger 3. The purpose of this arrangement is to increase the flowing velocity of the solvent over the surface of the heat exchanger as a result of the solvent in the vicinity of the gas which is blown out and rises being drawn up. This makes it possible to reduce power consumption of a zinc chloride battery at the time of charging and to improve overall efficiency of the battery.
