Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a stable bearing output by independently extracting rough and fine bearing signals of each other in frequency regions and correcting a phase shift between the rough and fine signals within a range up to half a sector occupying angle.
CONSTITUTION: A rough bearing calculator 7 calculates a rough bearing signal θ1 within the rang of 360° transmitted from a ground stationary station. A fine bearing calculator 8 calculates a fine bearing signal θ'9 for each of N equal sectors into which 360° is divided with a reference bearing signal in common. A bearing calculator 9 receives the output bearing data θ1 and θ'9 of the rough and fine bearing calculators 7 and 8, respectively, and corrects a phase difference between both the bearing signals θ1 and θ'9 within a range up to half a sector occupying angle. Thus, even when a 15Hz amplitude- modulated signal and a 135Hz amplitude-modulated signal are received with phases shifted by a maximum of half the sector occupying angle and, by a maximum of ±19.9° in case of a TACAN instrument, due to the turbulence of a spatial wave, the randomness of a pulse amplitude modulation and the like, a stable bearing output can be obtained.
