Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve excellent torque characteristic and efficiency over the entire speed range from the starting speed to the maximum rotary speed, by connecting two stator windings in series and making a stator rotatable thus constituting a voltage phase shifter. CONSTITUTION:Plural sets of conductors 5 mounted on a plurality of rotor cores 2, 3 journaled with intervals are coupled one another to provide an integral rotor 8. Stators 24, 25 are arranged at the outer circumferential sections of respective rotor cores 2, 3. The stators 24, 25 are rotatable coaxially with the rotor 8 through a pulse motor 35. First and second stators 24, 25 rotate and function as a voltage phase shifter 38.
