Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for using a matching agent and adhesive agent by using a ferrule which contains an optical fiber and is deposited with an optical film by evaporation on the end face thereof. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber 16 is built into the ferrule 14 and is fixed to the through-hole by a two-part type epoxy adhesive agent 15, etc. The end face of the optical parts is formed without using the matching agent and adhesive agent if the end face of such ferrule 14 is subjected to mirror finishing and the optical film 17 is formed thereon by vapor deposition, etc.
