Abstract

PURPOSE: To satisfactorily correct the various aberrations of a photographing lens in a reference state and to shorten the overall length of the lens by disposing lens groups having positive refracting powers and lens group having a negative refracting power successively from an object side.
CONSTITUTION: The lens groups IWIII have the positive refracting powers and the lens group IV has the negative refracting power. The respective groups move simultaneously. The respective lens groups IWIV are respectively independently moved to the object side in such a manner that the three air spacings formed by the adjacent two lens groups increase at the time of focusing the lens from an infinite object to a near distance object. The fluctuations in the aberrations arising from a change in magnification are thereby decreased.
