Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the slippage between layers of a continuous business form comprising a plurality of sheets of papers bound by a stapler, at the time of printing, by providing a stacker capable of being freely turned orthogonally to the width direction of cut sheets, and a positioning means capable of setting the inclination of the turning direction of the stacker to a predetermined angle. CONSTITUTION:At the time of printing on a continuous business form 6, a switch is turned ON, and a plunger magnet 21 is excited to turn a lever 23 counterclockwise against the energization by a coil spring 24, whereby a stopper 20 is located at a left position, and a stacker 15 is moved to a position of 15'. The continuous business form 6 discharged by a discharging roller 12 is moved upward along the stacker 15', and is continuedly discharged in the state of being slightly swollen to the front side of a printer, as indicated by 6', under its own gravity. The slack corrects the slippage between the layers of the business form 6 generated at a platen part due to the sharp bending along the platen 3, thereby moderating a total winding angle set for the business form 6 by the platen 3, the discharging roller 12 and the stacker 15. Therefore, there is not possibility of staples coming off or a slippage being generated between the layers.
