Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in prolonged stability at low temperature to room temperature, by concentrating an aqueous solution of a specified reactive dye. CONSTITUTION:A solution of a reactive dye of formula II [wherein R is -NH2 or -NHC2H4SM, wherein M is Li(+), Na(+), K(+) or (+)NH(C2H4OH)3, and at least one M is Li(+) or (+)NH(C2H4OH)3] and obtained by adding 2-4mol. of LiOH or triethanolamine to 1mol. of a reactive dye of formula I (wherein R is -NH or -NHC2H4SO3H), adding taurine or ammonia and cyanuric chloride to the mixture and condensing the resulting mixture is concentrated by evaporation or desalted and concentrated by reverse osmosis to obtain an aqueous liquid composition of a dye concentration of 20-40%. If necessary, polysodium acrylate, epsilon-caprolactam or the like is added to this composition, or its pH is adjusted to 6.0-8.5.
