PURPOSE:To prepare a grout for ground capable of maintaining its activity for a prolonged period of time when being injected into a soil exposed to highly acidic water, hot spring water and high temp. steam etc. as well, by mixing an alkaline stimulator with a fine, alkali-hardenable powder. CONSTITUTION:The alkali-hardenable grout for ground is prepd. by mixing an alkaline stimulator (e.g., Na2CO3 or NaOH) with an alkali-hardenable powder having a particle size up to 15mu, comprising a granulated blast furnace slag (mainly composed of SiO2, Al2O3 and CaO) obtd. by quenching a slag formed as a by-product in the pig iron production using a blast furnace at an iron mill. This grout exhibits high permeation into fine voids when being injected into a ground, and even if the water ratio is high, high compression strength is obtd. within a short period of time by the use of the same. Moreover, this compsn. has high durability to high temp., highly acidic hot spring soil, acid soil, etc.
