Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the intensity of a magnetic field of a wide range from a vibration of a critical magnetic field, by forming a magnetic field measuring instrument by a superconductive element, a photocell, an IED, an optical fiber, and an input light source, and varying continuously the light intensity of the input light source. CONSTITUTION:A light beam which is sent through an optical fiber 1 from a light source is converted to an electric input by a photocell 2. To the electric input, a superconductive element 3 and an LED 4 are connected in parallel. When the intensity of an input beam is varied continuously, it is varied to a normal conducting state at certain current density, therefore, a current flows to the LED 4, and it can be detected that the external magnetic field and the critical magnetic field have become equal. When various cross sections of a superconductor are prepared, the intensity of a magnetic field of a wide range extending from a feeble magnetic field to a high intensity magnetic field can be measured.
