Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance safety and facilitate operation by making an operation control unit memorize a driving direction during operation of loading or unloading a car and, in case of any malfunction halfway, by pushing a start-up button to rotate a parking equipment in a reverse direction and returning the car to an inlet/outlet position. CONSTITUTION: Photoelectric apparatuses 3 and 4 are disposed in a cage 2 of a parking equipment 1 to detect whether a car 5 is placed in a right position. If any malfunction is not detected, an ordinary operation is conducted and driving direction memory relays RY5/RY6 works to memorize the driving direction. On the other hand, if any malfunction is detected during operation, an operation relay RYR/RYL are de-energized to stop the parking equipment. Accordingly, when a starting button PB2 is pushed, the driving direction is switched in a direction reverse to the memorized driving direction to return the parking equipment to the inlet/outlet position.
