Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the microbism of the affected part and the outflow of body fluids therefrom and to promote the healing of tissue by breeding a tissue cell, by constituting the title covering material of a microcapsule layer containing a cell growth factor, modified collagen and mucopolysaccharide and a sheet like collagen film layer supporting said layer. CONSTITUTION:Enzymatically treated collagen is swollen and subsequently modified by heat. Next, a dilute aqueous solution of mucopolysaccharide and chondroitin sulfate is prepared to be mixed with a dilute aqueous solution of modified collagen and, after pH adjustment, the resulting mixture is stirred to form coacervate. In this case, when a cell growth factor is premixed, said cell growth factor is taken-in the formed coacervate. All of the operations of mixing, stirring and pH adjustment are performed at 37-90 deg.C. A Hanks' solution is mixed with a collagen solution to perform incubation and the resulting mixture is dried in air to obtain a collagen film. The thickness of this film is pref. 5-500mum in the connection with the permeability of a solute. The microcapsule solution is dripped on the collagen film to be infiltrated in and laminated to the whole of the film to obtain an injury covering material.
