Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce an elongation of screen and thereby enhance printing precision by forming a rectangular inner frame on which a screen is spread and a support plate surrounding the inner frame using an elastic body and providing a slit on the four corners of the support plate. CONSTITUTION:An inner frame 30 and a support plate 32 are formed using an elastic body and a slit 34 is provided on the four corners of this support plate 32. Then the inner frame 30 is set in an external frame 24 through the support plate 32 which surrounds the inner frame 30 and used as a screen printing plate 20. In this way, the proportion of a screen 26 which is spread on the inner frame 30 and has a prearranged printing pattern 28, occupying the screen printing plate 20 is significantly reduced. As a result, when printing is performed by allowing the screen 26 to come into contact with a base 10 properly with the bending and expansion/contraction of the inner frame 30 and support plate 32 when a squeegee is moved under pressure, the elongation of the screen 26 is reduced and a distortion of the printing pattern 28 is diminished. Consequently, it is possible to enhance printing precision and prolong the life of the screen printing plate 20.
