Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a green light-emitting intensifying paper having high sensitivity and excellent image quality, especially graininess, by using a fluorescent layer containing a Tb-doped rare-earth metal oxysulfide fluorescent material and a Tb-doped tantalum compound oxide fluorescent material. CONSTITUTION:The objective intensifying paper contains (A) a Tb-doped rare- earth metal oxysulfide fluorescent material of formula I (Ln is Y, La, Gd or Lu; A is Ce, Pr, Nd, Dy, Er or Tm; 0.002<=x<=0.20; 0<=y<=0.01) and (B) a Tb- doped tantalum compound oxide fluorescent material of formula II (Ln' is Y, La, Gd or Lu; 0.0001<=z<=0.1; 0.95<=m<=1.05; 0<=n<=5.0) in the fluorescent layer. The amount of the component B is preferably 10-90wt.%, especially 50-80wt.% based on the whole fluorescent material.
