Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the adjustment of an amplitude limiting circuit unnecessary, by converting a positive amplitude limiting value into a negative amplitude limiting value and deciding an amplitude limiting value output by comparing an input signal with the positive and negative amplitude limiting values and, simultaneously, switching the positive and negative amplitude limiting values to each other and connecting the switched outputs to the input signal and positive and negative amplitude limiting values. CONSTITUTION:An amplitude limiting value output is decided by inverting the positive reference voltage (7) produced by a reference voltage producing means 50 into a negative reference voltage (7') by means of a polarity inverting means 10 and comparing the positive and negative values (7) and (7') and an input signal (1) with each other at a comparator means 20. Simultaneously, the positive and negative amplitude limiting values (7) and (7') are switched to each other in accordance with the compared result of the means 20 and the switched outputs (8) and (9) are connected to the input signal (1) and positive and negative amplitude limiting values by means of an analog switching means 30. Therefore, adjusting works become unnecessary and, moreover, highly stable and accurate amplitude limiting values (7) and (7') are obtained.
