Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an antifreezing agent which does not contain chlorine, has the performance equiv. to or higher than the performance of CaCl2 and does not crystallize at a low temp. by using a material obtd. by treating the waste desulfurization liquid of a coal carbonization gas. CONSTITUTION:This antifreezing agent for cement is prepd. by adding the inorg. salt-contg. material obtd. by treating the waste desulfurization liquid of the coal carbonization gas at 0.02-5wt.% to cement in terms of solid. For example, 48% aq. NaOH soln. is added respectively to 1,000pts.wt. stock solns. of the waste desulfurization liquid withdrawn from the circulation system for desulfurization by a Takahax. Takahax-Fax combination process among the waste wet desulfurization liquids of the coal carbonization gas (coke furnace gas). While the liquid is then gradually heated (about 105-107 deg.C) under atmospheric pressure to evaporate NH3, the water is distilled and the salts are concd. A small amt. of the formed suspension is filtered off and the treated liquid is obtd. This treated liquid is used as the antifreezing agent.
