Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately control the angle of a reflecting mirror by driving a differential member which differentially converts the motion in the scanning track direction of the reflecting mirror into a rotating motion at speed in accordance with the moving speed of the reflecting mirror in the scanning track direction and controlling the rotary angle of the reflecting mirror. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting mirror 6 is moved along the scanning track at specified speed by moving members 22 and 22a linked with the reflecting mirror 6 disposed between an image-formation lens and an image-formation surface and the differential member 21 provided on the reflecting mirror 6, which differentially converts the motion in the scanning track direction into the rotating motion, is driven at the speed in accordance with the moving speed of the reflecting mirror 6 in the scanning track direction. The reflecting mirror 6 is rotated, thus, so as to control the rotary angle thereof. Thus, the angle of the reflecting mirror can be accurately controlled without an error.
