Abstract

PURPOSE: To discriminate between a control signal and a human voice signal with high accuracy by detecting a human voice by using the AND condition between at least two frequency components F+nP and F-nP which have differences from a Formant frequency component F equal to the control signal by (n) times as large as a pitch frequency P.
CONSTITUTION: When a signal of 'human voice' is applied to the input terminal of an amplifier AMP 1, each of filters BPFs 1∼3 generate an output and they are inputted to AND circuits AND1 and AND2, whose outputs are '1'. When a CNG signal is applied as the control signal, the filter BPF 1 generates its output because the signal contains only the frequency component F, but neither of the filters BPFs 2 and 3 generate an output. Consequently, 'human voice' and 'control signal' can be discriminated.
