Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture a diaphragm efficiently by forming a cloth 60 a desired shape and using it as a paper-making net to make the paper. CONSTITUTION:A cloth 8' made of carbon or glass fiber is formed as a cone. The cloth 8' is placed on a lower half 10a of a tank 10 and an upper half 10b is fitted onto the lower half 10b. A liquid 11 formed by suspending natural or synthetic fibers into a solvent such as water is put in the upper half 10b. When a drain cock 12 is opened, the water of the liquid 11 flows from the drain cock 12 through the lower half 10a and the cloth 8' while remaining the fibers on the cloth 8' to form a paper fiber layer 9' on the cloth 8'. When the diaphragm where the cloth 8' and the fiber layer 9' are incorporated is dried, the diaphragm of two-layer structure is obtained.
