Claims (1)
- エンジン本体のクランクシヤフトを垂直配置す
るとともに、シリンダを水平配置し、さらに上記
クランクシヤフト上部にインペラを固設するとと
もに上記エンジン本体のクランクケース上部に略
水平に拡がる隔壁を形成し、該隔壁と上記エンジ
ン本体および上記インペラを覆うエンジンカバー
とによつてフアン室を画成したバーチカルエンジ
ンにおいて、上記エンジンカバー内に、上記シリ
ンダの上方に位置させて導風板を設け、上記フア
ン室からの冷却風を、上記導風板によつて排気管
およびマフラーと、上記シリンダの高温構成要素
とに案内するようにしたことを特徴とするバーチ
カルエンジン。
