Abstract
PURPOSE:To sharply increase an amount of fluid transfer by arranging a plurality of guide vanes inside the expanding diameter portion of the gradually contracting diameter portion of a body. CONSTITUTION:A swirl flow generator 3 consists of a body 6 having a relatively short and gradually contracting diameter portion 4 a gradually contracting diameter portion 5 which is longer than the former and a plurality of guide vanes 7 which are arranged inside the expanding diameter portion of the gradually contracting diameter portion 5. Fluid 1 flowing through the inside of a pipe 2 is converted into a spiral flow S mainly formed by a free swirl and the distribution curve of fluid speed U in a axial direction is brought near to an angle shape to sharply reduce the speed U in the axial direction at a pipe wall portion so that the flow speed of fluid can be increased by the reduced amount of pressure loss without increase of fluid pressure and the sharp increase in an amount of fluid transfer can be made.
