Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve safety by operating an input overcurrent protective circuit so as to equalize energy consumption when an abnormal state is brought at the time of both input operation of a 100V system and a 200V system. CONSTITUTION:First and second input overcurrent protective circuits 12-13 are connected in series with one end of an AC input terminal 11. The rectification systems of both protective circuits 12-13 are changed over by a 100V system and 200V system changeover switch 14. A rectifier 15 and capacitors 16-17 for smoothing connected in series with the output side of the rectifier 15 are mounted, and the capacitors 16-17 for smoothing are energized through a path passing through the changeover switch 14 at the time of the input of a 100V system. Accordingly, only input currents flow through the second input overcurrent protective circuit 13 at the time of the input of a 200V system, and energy at the time of abnormality is equalized at the time of the input of the 100V system and at the time of the input of the 200V system when the protective rated value of the input currents is halved previously to that of the first input overcurrent protective circuit 12.
