Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled one-pack type composition adhesive to wide variety of materials and having excellent weather-resistance, flexibility, etc., as well as high solvent resistance, by compounding a urethane prepolymer with a copolymer having both NCO group and hydrolyzable silane group on side chain. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 5-60pts.wt. of a copolymer having a molecular weight of 2,000-50,000, composed of a main chain consisting of carbon-carbon bond and having NCO group and hydrolyzable silane group on side chain with (B) 95-40pts.wt. of a urethane prepolymer containing terminal NCO group and having a molecular weight of 500-5,000. The component a is produced preferably by copolymerizing an unsaturated isocyanate compound, a polymerizable silane compound containing hydrolyzable silane group (e.g. vinyltriethoxysilane) and a vinyl monomer. The unsaturated isocyanate compound is preferably isocyanatoethyl methacrylate.
