Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the titled water-resistant adhesive suitable for laminates made up of flexible polyvinyl chloride resin sheet and synthetic textile fabric, comprising an ethylene-vinyl acetate-acrylic acid copolymer emulsion, aqueous polyurethane resin and aziridine functional group-contg. compound. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition (adhesive) comprising (A) 25-92wt.% of an emulsion of a copolymer with composition ratio; ethylene/vinyl acetate/ acrylic acid=8-15/80-92/0.5-10, containing 0.5-4.5wt.% of PVA as the protective colloid, (B) 5-70wt.% of an aqueous polyurethane resin, and (C) 3-5wt.% of a compound having in one molecule two or more aziridine functional groups (e.g. of formula).
