The encoded display signal of a disk size is prepared at the lead-in part of the disk 1, and a read signal is written into a memory 15. The signal of the memory 12 is sent to a system control 16, and a switch 10 is controlled. At amplifiers 11 and 12, the difference of gains is prepared, the switch 10 is switched according to the size of the disk 1, and the switching of the loop gain of the driving system is executed. In such a way, by detecting the display signal of the size on the disk and executing the switching of the loop gain of the driving system, the driving of the disk can be executed which is always satisfactory.
