Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the corrosion resistance of the titled joint by exploding a first member and a second member consisting of a stainless steel plate and Zr or a Zr alloy plate via a Ta intermediate material so that the welding interfaces are formed in a wave pattern mutually and then, cutting out a pipe body in the direction of the plate thickness.
CONSTITUTION: The Ta intermediate material 2 is exploded and welded with pressure to the first member 1 consisting of the stainless steel plate and Zr or the Zr alloy plate. Next, the second member 3 consisting of the stainless steel plate and Zr or the Zr alloy plate is exploded and welded with pressure on the intermediate material 2. At this time, the welding interfaces are formed in the wave pattern. Next, the joint is cut out tubularly by machining from the direction of the plate thickness of a composite plate. By this method, a joint excellent in corrosion resistance can be obtained.
