Abstract

PURPOSE:To always properly control brake oil pressure at the time of performing the duty control of a solenoid valve for controlling brake pressure to a braking hydraulic actuator by determining a period which participates in a duty ratio in accordance with a vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION:In the brake oil pressure control device of a vehicle, a hydraulic oil pressure which is fed to a hydraulic actuator M1 for controlling a wheel is controlled by adjusting the duty ratio of the driving signal of a solenoid valve M3 provided in a flow passage from a high pressure oil source M2. In this case, a period determining means M4 determines the period of the driving signal which participates in a duty ratio in accordance with a vehicle speed and, a solenoid valve M3 is electrified by an electrifying means M5 according to the period determined by this means M4. Thereby, in high speed traveling, an operating performance is maintained by applying pressure at a relatively early timing while, on the other hand, in low speed traveling, pressure is gently applied preventing the generation of a large bodily sensation.
