Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of cables by connecting a safety control device to safety equipment by means of commonly wired lines, transmitting modulated waves being superposed with a current flowing in the lines, and receiving the waves on the safety equipment side to carry out the control of the safety equipment. CONSTITUTION:A controller 11 is provided in an equipment chamber 1 while also providing terminal equipment 121-12n and a signal light transformer ST1-STn on each site and a safety control device is formed with the controller 11 and an interlocking device 2. The transmission/receiving of a control signal and an indicating signal is carried out between the controller 11 and the termi nal equipments 121-12n using power source lines 7 which are commonly wired between this safety control device and switches 31-3n/signals 41-4n. The switches 31-3n and the signals 41-4n are controlled according to a control signal transmitted from the controller 11 via the terminal equipments 121-12n, while transmitting an indication signal which indicates this condition from the terminal equipments 121-12n, to confirm a controlling condition by means of the interlocking device 2 which receives the signal via the controller 11.
