Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the high speed operation, improve the positioning accuracy, and reduce noise by laying a timing belt so as to be shifted in intermittent synchronization and engaging a pallet onto the timing belt. CONSTITUTION:A driving shaft 2 and a driven shaft 3 are installed at the right and left edges of a machine frame 1, and the timing belt pulleys 4 and 5 are fixed onto the shafts 2 and 3, and a timing belt 6 is installed. Projecting stripes are installed at the prescribed intervals on the timing belt 6, and a recessed groove formed on the bottom surface of a pallet 8 is engaged, and the pallet 8 is engaged with the timing belt 6. The driving shaft 2 is driven by a motor 15 through a reduction gear 13 and an index unit 11. Therefore, a pallet 10 is supported, together with the timing belt 6, onto a rail 20 and shifted. Thus, high speed operation is enabled, and the positioning accuracy is improved, and noise can be reduced.
